Como ya es habitual cuando llegan estas fechas, los alumnos que componen el Coro de nuestro colegio, participaron en el Certamen de Villancicos organizado por el Corte Inglés de Valencia.Con gran ilusión por formar parte de los “seleccionados” para tal evento, demostraron que, no siendo los mejores en lo que a voz se refiere, año tras año van mejorando en sus interpretaciones. YEAR ONE AT THE DOCTORS.
       
       In Year One, we have been very busy at the doctors. We have been giving eye tests, as shown in the photo. Doctors have been asking patients what the problem is and writing down what treatment they are going to give them. We have also been reading leaflets and taking telephone messages. Most of all, we have had lots of fun!
       
       YEAR ONE EN EL MÉDICO.
       
       En Year 1, hemos estado muy ocupados en el médico. Nos han hecho pruebas oftalmológicas, como se ve en la foto. Los médicos han estado preguntando a los pacientes y anotando el tratamiento que les van a dar. También estuvimos leyendo información y tomando mensajes telefónicos. Pero sobretodo, ¡nos lo pasamos muy bien!
       

YEAR 5 NEWS
       
       The children in Ms Coleman’s literacy set all agree that they have just had their most enjoyable literacy lesson yet! As part of their literacy unit on recounts, they interviewed Year 7 about going into Secondary.
       
       Here is what Laura Sevila wrote about this experience:
        “In literacy we have been practising note-taking, writing questions and writing reports through interviews. We decided to interview year 7 to find out how they were getting on. We asked questions like ‘How did you feel on your first day? Why? and ‘Who is your favourite teacher? Why?’ We tried to ask as many open questions as possible. We conducted the interviews in the library. Me and my partner interviewed Candela and Maria. I really liked this experience”.
       
       NOTICIAS DE YEAR 5
       
       Todos los alumnos de Ms. Coleman están de acuerdo en que ¡acaban de tener la mejor clase de literacy! Como parte de la unidad que están trabajando, entrevistaron a Year 7 acerca de empezar en secundaria.
       
       Esto es lo que Laura Sevila escribió sobre su experiencia:
       “En literacy hemos estado practicando cosas como toma notas, escribir preguntas y escribir informes a través de entrevistas. Decidimos entrevistar a year 7 para enterarnos de cómo les va en secundaria. Les preguntamos cosas como “¿Cómo te sentiste el primer día? ¿Por qué? Y ¿Quién es tu profesor favorito? ¿Por qué? Intentamos hacer el mayor número de preguntas abiertas posible. Dirigimos las entrevistas en la biblioteca. Mi compañera y yo entrevistamos a Candela y a Maria. Realmente disfruté con esta experiencia.”
